Anil Sharma gets emotional after watching Dharmendra’s performance in his final film Ikkis, says he watched it with teary eyes

Filmmaker Anil Sharma praised Dharmendra’s performance in Ikkis and also applauded Agastya Nanda in his review. Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra passed away at the age of 89 on November 24, and his final film Ikkis is now set to hit theatres on January 1. Ahead of its release, the makers hosted a special screening in Mumbai, which several Bollywood celebrities attended, including Anil Sharma.

Anil Sharma Gets Emotional After Watching Dharmendra’s Final Performance in Ikkis

After watching the film, Anil Sharma shared his thoughts on social media and expressed deep admiration for Dharmendra’s performance. On Tuesday, he posted a poster of the late actor from Ikkis on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote an emotional note, saying that he felt deeply moved after watching Dharmendra’s final performance. He added that he watched the film with teary eyes and described the role and performance as powerful, dignified and unforgettable.

Anil also congratulated the entire Ikkis team, including the makers, technicians and cast, for creating a fitting tribute to the legendary actor. He gave a special mention to Agastya Nanda, praising his strong performance in the film.

Anil Sharma has collaborated with Dharmendra on several films such as Hukumat, Elaan-E-Jung, Farishtay, Tahalka, Policewala Gunda and Apne. He has also delivered blockbuster hits with Dharmendra’s son Sunny Deol, including Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and Gadar 2.
