‘Where Were Your Eyes on October 7?’: Israel Counters Viral ‘All Eyes on Rafah’

This is in response to the Al-generate ‘All eyes on Rafah’ graphic that share by numerous celebrities, public figures, and social media users to draw attention to Israel’s airstrikes in Rafah, a city in Gaza that has devastated by war.

Israeli Air Strike Kills 45 Civilians at Rafah Refugee Camp

In a Rafah refugee camp, the Israeli airstrike intended to destroy Hamas claimed the lives of at least forty-five civilians, including children. The tragedy has provoke indignation around the world, although Israel has denied targeting the Rafah camp, stating that the damage cause by a secondary fire that started after a rocket struck a Hamas weapons factory. Despite this, Israel has come under heavy condemnation.

In response, Tel Aviv released a picture that draws attention to the incident that occurred on October 7 and resulted in the deaths of almost 1,160 people in Israel, most of them civilians. About 250 hostages also taken by the extremists; the majority of them set free during a week-long ceasefire in November. According to Israel, 99 hostages are still in the hands of the militants, while 31 have died. The health ministry in Gaza, which is under Hamas control, reports that at least 31,112 people have died as a result of Israel’s military campaign of retaliation to eliminate Hamas.

Israel Shares Image Highlighting October 7 Attack in Response to Viral Trend
