A convicted child rapist serving 12.5 years in the UK has died, authorities confirmed last week. Rebecca Holloway, 31, was found dead at HM Prison Low Newton in Durham. She was less than five years into her sentence. Her family has been informed, but no details about her death were released, reports People.
The Prisons and Probation Ombudsman will publish its findings on the death soon. A prison service spokesperson confirmed Rebecca Holloway died in custody on February 13. As with all custody deaths, the Prison and Probation Ombudsman will investigate. Holloway admitted to multiple child sexual offenses, including two rapes, at Great Frombsy Crown Court in 2018. She received a long-term jail sentence after her conviction.

Judge Calls It One of the Most Distressing Child Abuse Cases
Judge Paul Watson called the case one of the “most distressing” he had ever seen. Holloway met serial paedophile Oliver Wilson on a dating app. The pair soon teamed up to commit horrific child abuse.

The judge stated Holloway took perverse pleasure in Wilson’s actions and willingly participated in the abuse. The full long-term impact on the girl may never be known. However, it has clearly had a profound effect on her.
His phone revealed ‘highly sexualised and extremely graphic’ conversations with Holloway about sexual abuse against children.
