Indian citizen won massive prize in Dubai, will receive over Rs 5.5 lakh every month for 25 years

An Indian citizen, architect employed in Dubai has become the inaugural recipient of a new mega prize in the UAE. Mohammed Adil Khan, originally from Uttar Pradesh, won the FAST 5 draw. He will be granted more than Rs 5.5 lakh each month for the next 25 years. It was reported by Gulf News, a daily English language newspaper.

A Life-changing Win for Indian citizen

Currently working as an interior design consultant for a real estate company in Dubai, Khan’s lottery win will provide him with Dh25,000 (approximately 5,59,822) every month for the next 25 years. Expressing gratitude for the timely win, Khan mentioned that he is the sole provider for his family. He included supporting his deceased brother’s family, caring for aged parents, and raising a five-year-old daughter.

Khan was pleasantly surprised upon receiving the news. Even his family found it hard to believe until they verified its authenticity. The Emirates Draw’s marketing head, Paul Chader, expressed delight in announcing the first FAST 5 winner within just eight weeks of its launch. He highlighted that the staggered payments ensure a regular income for the winner over the next 25 years, making it the fastest way to become a multi-millionaire.
