Nikki Haley, former Republican presidential nominee and ex-governor of South Carolina, ignited controversy during her visit to Israel by signing Israeli artillery shells with the phrase “Finish Them!” while touring the northern border with Lebanon. Haley, accompanied by Danny Danon, a former Israeli ambassador to the United Nations, expressed strong support for Israel amid its ongoing military offensive in Gaza, which has claimed over 36,000 Palestinian lives, including approximately 15,000 children.

Meeting with Hamas Attack Survivors Highlights Nikki Haley’s Controversial Visit to Israel
Haley voiced her disapproval of President Joe Biden’s administration for temporarily withholding weapons to prevent an attack on Rafah. She criticized the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the International Court of Justice (ICJ) for their actions against Israel. “The sure way to not help Israel is to withhold weapons,” Haley said, adding, “America needs to do whatever Israel needs and stop telling them how to fight this war. You are either a friend or not a friend.”
During her visit, Haley also traveled to southern Israel, where she met with survivors of the October 7 Hamas attack that resulted in the deaths of around 1,200 people and the kidnapping of 253 others. The photo of Haley signing the missile sparked backlash on social media, with many criticizing her for endorsing actions that contribute to further violence and destruction.
