On Wednesday, the official Twitter account of the Iranian embassy in Syria shared a message that read “time is up.” This statement followed Iran’s foreign ministry’s strong condemnation of an explosion at a Gaza Strip hospital, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of numerous “unarmed and vulnerable individuals.”
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s Supreme Leader, stated on Tuesday that Israeli officials ought to face trial for the actions they have taken against Palestinians in Gaza, according to a report by the state TV quoted by the Reuters news agency.
Meanwhile, operations at Syria’s Damascus airport are set to resume by Thursday after an Israeli airstrike put it out of service, state TV reported early on Wednesday, citing the director of the Civil Aviation Authority.

Iran-Backed Actions Escalate Conflict in the Middle East
On Thursday, Syria said Israeli forces launched simultaneous missile attacks on the airports in its capital, Damascus, and the northern city of Aleppo, damaging the runways and putting both hubs out of service.
Meanwhile, Israel has activated a plan to evacuate residents of 28 villages within 2 km (1 mile) of the Lebanese border, the military said on Monday following hostilities with Hezbollah in parallel to the spiralling war in Gaza.
One of the villages, Shtula, came under a Hezbollah missile attack on Sunday. Israeli media said a civilian was killed.
More than 4,000 people from both sides have been killed following the attacks carried out by Hamas terrorists on Israel on October 7.
Between 200 and 250 Israelis are said to have been taken to Gaza as hostages.
