Iran has outlined three conditions to end the ongoing conflict with the United States and Israel as the War in the Middle East entered its 13th day. President Masoud Pezeshkian shared the message on the microblogging platform X, highlighting Tehran’s position on peace. He said Iran remains committed to ending the hostilities through diplomatic engagement. The president also confirmed that he discussed the situation with Russia and Pakistan.
Pezeshkian stated that the conflict, which he blamed on the “Zionist regime and the US,” can end only if three key demands are met. First, other nations must recognize Iran’s legitimate rights under international frameworks. Second, the countries responsible for the attacks must compensate Iran for the damage caused during the conflict. Third, the international community must provide strong guarantees to prevent future aggression.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump said on Wednesday that the United States had already secured victory in the conflict. However, he added that American troops would remain deployed in the region until the mission was fully completed. His statement came as fighting between Iran and Israel continued. The situation remains tense despite claims of progress by Washington.
The war began after the US and Israel launched coordinated strikes on Iranian targets on February 28. Since then, both sides have carried out repeated attacks and counterattacks. The clashes have caused heavy destruction and reportedly resulted in about 1,200 casualties. The ongoing conflict has also increased fears of wider instability in the Middle East.
The hostilities have disrupted global energy markets as well. Attacks on Iranian oil tankers and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz have tightened oil supplies worldwide. As a result, crude prices have surged across international markets. During the same period, India increased its imports of Russian oil to about 1.5 million barrels per day, according to tanker tracking data from commodity analytics firm Kpler.
