Pilot Stabbed : Bloodied Passenger Seen After Flydubai Cockpit Fight

A flydubai flight travelling from Dubai to Tel Aviv made an emergency landing at Tabuk Airport in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday. The incident reportedly began after a violent confrontation inside the aircraft’s cockpit. Passengers described hearing screams and seeing blood after the cockpit door opened. Reports said the incident involved a knife and left passengers deeply frightened. Israeli passengers reportedly helped the crew control the person involved in the confrontation.

Knife Incident Triggers Panic Mid-Air

A passenger reportedly told Israeli media that someone entered the cockpit carrying a knife. The passenger said travellers heard screams before the cockpit door opened. When the door opened, passengers reportedly saw blood inside the cockpit. Another account claimed that someone had stabbed one of the pilots with a pocketknife. Authorities have not yet publicly confirmed all details surrounding the reported attack.

Passengers also described a frightening moment when the aircraft suddenly began to lose altitude. One passenger, identified as Noam, said travellers realised something serious had happened after hearing screams. She claimed that one of the pilots appeared to have suffered serious injuries. According to her account, the aircraft then started to dive rapidly. The sudden movement intensified panic among those on board.

Passengers Help Crew Restrain Attacker

Another passenger said Israeli travellers joined members of the crew to restrain the alleged attacker. She described the situation as extremely frightening and said some passengers feared they might not survive. Passengers reportedly remained distressed as the crew dealt with the situation. The aircraft subsequently diverted from its planned route. It later landed safely at Tabuk Airport in Saudi Arabia.

Images reportedly taken after the incident showed a passenger wearing a blood-stained T-shirt. The images emerged as reports circulated about the confrontation inside the cockpit. However, the exact sequence of events and the circumstances that led to the alleged stabbing remain under investigation.
