Astronauts Reject ‘Stranded’ Narrative, Emphasize Commitment to Mission

Ahead of Valentine’s Day this February, the two astronauts reaffirmed that they were not stranded on the ISS. In an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper on Thursday, he asked them about their stance on Trump’s claims.

Butch Wilmore directly challenged the ongoing rhetoric, emphasizing that although he and Williams understood why people were pushing the narrative, it did not reflect their reality.
