Asaduddin Owaisi, chief of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), criticized Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma over alleged bulldozer actions, stating that voters should deliver a “clear message” to him in the upcoming Assembly elections.Speaking at a rally in Guwahati, Owaisi said the current situation is “very concerning” and stressed the need to strengthen leadership within the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) to counter what he described as oppressive forces. He emphasized that in a democracy, slogans alone are not enough, and people must use their votes to respond to what he called Sarma’s regressive politics.

During his address, he encouraged voters to ensure greater representation of AIUDF candidates in the Assembly to safeguard community interests.
