Actor Shreyas Talpade, aged 47, experienced a heart attack shortly after concluding a film shoot on Thursday evening. Following the incident, he was swiftly taken to an Andheri hospital where he underwent angioplasty. His family has instructed the medical personnel not to disclose specific information about his condition or treatment.
Talpade had been working on the film ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ and reportedly continued filming throughout the day, encompassing even minor action sequences.

Unit members said he appeared well and was laughing and joking on set. However, upon reaching home he informed his wife Deepti that he was feeling uneasy and collapsed, after which he was led to hospital foremergency treatment.
Shreyas Talpade was born January 27, 1976. After a long stint in Marathi serials and stage shows he became noticed nationwide for his role in ‘Iqbal’ (2005) where he played a deaf mute aspiring cricketer. He has since featured in over 40 Hindi and Marathi films including Dor, Apna Sapna Money Money, Om Shanti Om, Welcome to Sajjanpur and Golmaal Returns.
