YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, known as “BeerBiceps,” has moved the Supreme Court seeking relief from multiple FIRs filed across states. The cases arise from controversial comments made on the now-deleted YouTube reality show India’s Got Latent, hosted by comedian Samay Raina.
Ranveer Allahbadia, represented by lawyer Abhinav Chandrachud, has petitioned the Supreme Court to consolidate FIRs filed against him in multiple states. He has also requested anticipatory bail, fearing arrest by Guwahati police, who have already summoned him and others linked to the show.
The petition sought an early hearing and was mentioned before Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna. However, the CJI refused an immediate hearing, citing that a date had already been set for the case.

Justice Khanna advised Mr. Allahbadia’s legal team to consult the court registry for further details.
The controversy began after Mr. Allahbadia made a remark about parents and sex on India’s Got Latent. The show featured comedians and influencers as judges and participants. He asked, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex daily or join in once to stop it forever?”
The comment sparked public outrage and led to multiple complaints nationwide. A Guwahati resident filed a formal complaint against Mr. Allahbadia. This led Assam police to register a case. The case was filed under sections related to obscenity and public morality. The FIR names Mr. Allahbadia, host Samay Raina, and other participants, including Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, and Apoorva Makhija.
