Teja Sajja’s “Hanu-Man” continues to captivate audiences, maintaining its robust performance at the box office without any signs of deceleration. Taran Adarsh, a Bollywood trade analyst, shared updates on the film’s box office success in a recent X post. He noted that the Prasanth Varma directorial is holding a solid grip on the second Monday, benefiting from a holiday in several states. Adarsh reported the film’s daily earnings for Week 2, highlighting that Day 11 surpassed both Day 1 and Day 8, reaching a total of ₹36.54 crore in India for the Hindi version.
Additionally, Adarsh provided details for the Telugu version’s performance in North India during Week 2, totaling ₹2.26 crore. Another trade analyst, Manobala Vijayabalan, echoed the positive trend, stating that “Hanu-Man” is marching towards ₹225 crore globally.
On Day 11 alone, the film, set in the fictional Anjanadri, raked in ₹9.36 crore, contributing to its impressive overall collection of ₹218.42 crore. Vijayabalan further shared a day-wise breakdown, highlighting the film’s consistent success since its release on January 12. The narrative of “Hanu-Man” intertwines two origin stories: the transformation of Hanumanthu from a modest lover boy to the savior of his people, and Michael’s relentless pursuit of the source of Hanumanthu’s special powers.
In a review by Saibal Chatterjee on NDTV, “Hanu-Man” received a rating of 2.5 stars, acknowledging its exploration of dual origin stories and the protagonist’s journey. The film, produced by Primeshow Entertainment, has undoubtedly left a substantial mark on the cinematic landscape since its debut.
