Salman Khan’s Eid release Sikandar saw a major drop, earning ₹19.5 crore on Tuesday, after opening with ₹26 crore.
On Eid, the film’s earnings slightly increased to ₹29 crore. Sikandar collected ₹74.5 crore in three days on a ₹200 crore budget.
According to Sacnilk, Sikandar had 18.91% occupancy in afternoon shows, 25.99% in evening, and 25.89% in night shows on Tuesday. The film is falling behind Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2, which has become the biggest blockbuster in recent times.

On its third day, Pushpa 2 (Hindi) earned Rs 73.5 crore, despite releasing on a non-holiday (December 5, 2024). Allu Arjun’s film captivated the Hindi audience, collecting Rs 200.7 crore within just three days of release.
On Day 1, Pushpa 2 (Hindi) collected Rs 70.3 crore, followed by Rs 56.9 crore on Day 2. Sikandar marks Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna’s first collaboration and Salman’s first project with director AR Murugadoss. Murugadoss, known for directing Aamir Khan’s Ghajini (2008), helmed Sikandar, featuring Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, and Sharman Joshi in key roles.

The film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Sikandar managed to outperform Salman Khan’s previous Eid release, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which had collected ₹15 crore on its opening day. However, despite its strong start, Sikandar fell short of surpassing the opening-day collection of Salman Khan’s blockbuster Tiger Zinda Hai (2023), which had earned an impressive ₹33 crore on its first day. The film continues to perform at the box office, but it remains to be seen how it fares in the coming days.
