Influencers Clash Over Gift Hampers at Flipkart Glam Up Fest, Viral Video Sparks Buzz

Flipkart’s Glam Up Fest at Delhi’s Pragati Maidan on June 19 drew beauty influencers from across India for a day of networking, brand activities, and celebrity appearances. The event also featured Bollywood actors Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar, attracting large crowds of creators and fans.

Influencer Hamper Rush Sparks Chaos at Flipkart Fest

Several attendees initially praised the event for its smooth execution and engaging activities. However, concerns soon emerged on social media as influencers reported overcrowding and alleged lapses in crowd management. Many participants shared their experiences online, highlighting issues they faced during the gathering.

The controversy intensified during the distribution of giveaway hampers at the end of the event. Viral videos showed attendees rushing toward stacks of merchandise, while some people entered restricted areas to collect bags. Another clip captured a heated tussle involving multiple attendees over a hamper.

Flipkart Glam Up Event Marred by Goodie Bag Controversy

Influencer Ravleen Kaur criticized the organizers in a social media post, claiming that many participants who stayed throughout the event did not receive the promised goodie bags. She stated that influencers had been assured hampers worth ₹6,000 as part of a barter collaboration, but the supplies reportedly ran out before the event concluded.

Kaur also alleged that event staff failed to manage the situation effectively when the crowd grew restless. While she acknowledged that some influencers behaved aggressively in their attempts to secure hampers, she held Flipkart responsible for the alleged mismanagement. Several other attendees echoed similar complaints, saying they fulfilled their collaboration commitments but left without the promised gifts.
