Hugh Jackman assured fans that his comeback as Wolverine in the upcoming “Deadpool 3” wouldn’t interfere with “Logan,” the 2017 “X-Men” tentpole that put an end to the superhero’s movie storyline by murdering him off.
According to a first look of “Deadpool 3” that was post on Ryan Reynolds’ and Jackman’s Instagram accounts, Wolverine is wearing his traditional yellow-and-blue comic book suit. Considering that the superhero has never before worn this outfit on the big screen, it appears that this is not the version of Wolverine that Jackman previously played.
‘Deadpool 3’ is currently being productive. Shawn Levy, who most recently oversaw Reynolds in “Free Guy” and the Netflix blockbuster “The Adam Project,” is in charge of directing the picture.
The story of the movie is unknown, but it undoubtedly involves the multiverse because Deadpool joins the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time following a run of independent films made under Fox, according to Variety. Morena Baccarin and Brianna Hildebrand, as well as newcomers Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen, will appear in “Deadpool 3” alongside Jackman and Reynolds.
‘Variety’ reports that Jennifer Garner will reprise her role as Elektra from Ben Affleck’s 2003 film ‘Daredevil’ and her own spinoff film from five years prior.
