Antique Stock Broking’s prediction for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections

Antique Stock Broking predicts that the BJP-led NDA (National Democratic Alliance) may not secure 370-410 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha election. However, they anticipate that the alliance will still exceed its 2019 tally of 353 seats.

Antique Stock Broking highlights the ongoing debate regarding the incumbent government’s chances of returning to power, especially in light of a decrease in voter turnout. They believe that despite this, the incumbent party has the potential to surpass its performance in the 2019 elections.

Antique states that the current discussion revolves around the chances of the incumbent government, especially as polling has concluded in almost 70% of the Lok Sabha seats. They note a decline in voter turnout from 68.6% in 2019 to 66.5% in 2024, with a decrease observed in 252 seats out of 365. Based on their analysis of the voter turnout data.

Antique predicts that the incumbent party may enhance its performance from the 2019 elections but might not meet the expectation reflected in the opinion polls of the NDA winning 370-410 seats.

Four out of the seven phases of the Lok Sabha elections in 2024 have concluded. The fifth phase is scheduled for May 20, followed by the sixth and seventh phases on May 25 and June 1, respectively. The election results are expected to be announced on June 4.

The average voter turnout recorded up to this point stands at 67 percent.
