Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has accused the Congress of imitating his government’s flagship initiative, the ‘Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana,’ while unveiling their “five guarantees” in Mumbai. Speaking to The Hindu during his campaign in Vidarbha, Shinde claimed, “The Congress is copying us because they fear us. They have nothing new to offer, so they’re making five guarantees, like pledging ₹3,000 to women.”
