According to official reports, the explosion occurred at the Barzan gas supply facility in Ras Laffan Industrial City. The facility operates under QatarEnergy LNG. Qatari authorities confirmed that 13 people died and 66 suffered injuries. However, the Indian Embassy in Doha stated that 12 Indian nationals were among those killed. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
