Maharashtra Election: MVA Stalemate Continues on 23 Key Seat, Resolution Anticipated Today

Shiv Sena (UBT) and Congress Focus on Seat Allocation Ahead of Maharashtra Elections

Meanwhile, the Shiv Sena (UBT), led by Uddhav Thackeray, is intent on broadening its presence, particularly in areas where it aims to rival the Shiv Sena (Shinde) faction.

The sensitive nature of the negotiations arises from the necessity to balance each party’s ambitions while maintaining a united front against the BJP-Mahayuti coalition. Given that each party has its own regional strongholds and voter bases, reaching an agreement on the final 23 seats has proven to be a difficult task.
