While Rahul Gandhi and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge attacked the Narendra Modi government for freezing the party’s bank accounts and claimed that the Modi government was trying to rig the election to benefit the BJP, Tejashwi Yadav, their ally in Bihar, asserted that in just 17 months, his government with the JD(U), now part of the NDA, the Congress, and Left parties had created five lakh jobs.

Congress Heavyweights Lead INDIA Bloc Rally

The Congress made it clear the day before the demonstration that it would not be a “person-centric” gathering. To make sure that the party’s focus remained on it, all of its big names were there on stage on Sunday. On stage were the Gandhis, Kharge, and senior party leader K C Venugopal. Priyanka, Rahul, and Kharge spoke to the assembly.

It’s interesting to note that Sonia Gandhi attended the conference as well, demonstrating how significant it is to the Congress. On March 17, Sonia had not shown up for the opposition meeting in Mumbai, which was organized to commemorate the end of the Congress’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.

Kharge’s Message to AAP’s Mann: Unity Key for Punjab Success

With the exception of Punjab, the Congress and the AAP have agreements on seat sharing in other states. Kharge used the occasion to give Mann a message.

He said, “will travel in unison. I anticipate that, as the Chief Minister of Punjab, we will only succeed when we unite in our battle. Otherwise, if we continue to suppress one another, we will not advance. First, learn to unite rather than to shatter others. This needs to be our guiding idea.”
