Chandrababu Naidu is poised to be sworn in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on June 12. His alliance of the Telugu Desam Party, Bharatiya Janata Party, and Janasena swept back to power, securing 164 out of 175 seats in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly.

N Chandrababu Naidu not only displayed his dominance in the southern state but also became a major player at the national level as his TDP became the second largest constituent of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

The TDP leader met with Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer on Tuesday to stake his claim to form the next state government. “All MLAs from the BJP, Janasena, and TDP have agreed for me to become the next Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh under the NDA government,” Naidu stated following the NDA legislators’ meeting.

N Chandrababu Naidu is set to be sworn in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh at precisely 11:27 AM on June 12. The ceremony will take place at the Kesarapalli IT Park near Gannavaram Airport on the outskirts of Vijayawada. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior NDA leaders are expected to attend the event.
