From Streets to Software Success

In 2013, Abdul Alim left home with just ₹1,000 and spent nearly two months on the streets before getting a job as a security guard at Zoho. During a shift, senior employee Shibu Alexis noticed his curiosity and offered to mentor him. Despite limited education, Alim dedicated his evenings to learning programming and eventually built an app that impressed a Zoho manager, paving his way into software development.

Eight years later, Alim works as a software development engineer. In his viral LinkedIn post, he thanked his mentor Shibu Alexis and Zoho for the opportunity, stressing it’s never too late to learn.
