The National Testing Agency declared NEET UG 2026 results, with 11.21 lakh candidates qualifying for undergraduate medical admissions nationwide.
Punjab’s Aryan Gupta and Haryana’s Panshul Bansal jointly topped the examination, each scoring an impressive 715 marks. Candidates can now download their scorecards from the official NEET website and prepare for counselling procedures. The agency also released All India Ranks, state toppers, category toppers, qualifying cut-offs, and language-wise participation details. Nineteen candidates scored above 700 marks, while 138 candidates crossed the 690-mark milestone in the examination.

Additionally, 1,492 candidates secured 650 marks, while 10,160 candidates achieved scores exceeding 600 marks successfully. Nearly 90,780 candidates scored at least 500 marks, reflecting strong overall performance across the country this year. More than 93 percent of the top 138 performers appeared for NEET as first-time candidates successfully.
NEET UG 2026 Re-Test: Counselling Process Begins
Qualified candidates represented all 36 States and Union Territories, demonstrating broad national participation and academic excellence. Uttar Pradesh recorded the highest number of successful candidates, while Lakshadweep reported forty-three qualified aspirants this year. Female candidates accounted for over 58 percent of successful aspirants, outperforming male candidates in qualification rates nationally. The examination attracted nearly 20 lakh candidates across 5,440 centres in 551 Indian and overseas cities.
Authorities conducted the examination in thirteen languages, ensuring accessibility for candidates from diverse linguistic backgrounds nationwide. General, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, EWS, and PwBD candidates qualified across categories under prescribed eligibility criteria successfully. Following the results, eligible candidates will participate in counselling for MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and allied undergraduate programmes. The Medical Counselling Committee will conduct All India Quota counselling, while states will manage remaining admissions independently.
