The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has officially declared the Maharashtra SSC Result 2026 for Class 10 students. The board announced the results during a press conference held in Pune on May 8. Students can now check their marks online through official websites, including mahahsscboard.in, sscresult.mahahsscboard.in, sscresult.mkcl.org, and maharesult.nic.in. This year, the board recorded an overall pass percentage of 92.09%, while 179 students achieved a perfect score of 100%.
More than 16 lakh students registered for the Maharashtra SSC examinations this year. Out of them, around 15.42 lakh students appeared for the exams, and over 14.20 lakh successfully passed. The examination process took place between February 20 and March 18, 2026. Students can download their marksheets online and also access digital copies through the DigiLocker platform. The board advised students to verify their details carefully after downloading their results. Meanwhile, educational authorities also arranged mental health support for students during the result period. The board appointed counsellors at both state and divisional levels to assist students through phone support services.
This year’s examination season also witnessed controversy after authorities registered an FIR regarding the alleged leak of Mathematics papers on a Telegram channel. Officials suspect that some individuals attempted to exploit parents through fake paper leak claims and financial scams. Despite the incident, the board completed the examination and evaluation process successfully. Last year, the Maharashtra SSC examinations recorded a higher pass percentage of 94.10%. However, this year’s results still reflected strong overall student performance across the state.
