JEE Main 2026: Arnav Gautam’s Self-Study Strategy

Arnav Gautam secured a perfect 100 percentile in JEE Main 2026 Session 1. The National Testing Agency announced the results on Monday. This year, twelve students achieved a 100 percentile. Hailing from Rajasthan, Arnav cleared JEE Main 2026 in his first attempt. He scored 295 out of 300 in the January session. Next, he will appear for his Class 12 board exams starting February 17.

During his early school years, Arnav decided to become an engineer. Although his parents come from a humanities background, they fully supported his ambition. His mother described him as intelligent, sincere, and disciplined. According to her, he followed a strict routine for preparation. He studied at Allen Institute and relied mainly on coaching notes. Despite his demanding schedule, he maintained balance in life. After returning from coaching around 9 pm, he played cricket with his younger brother. Along with academics, he prioritised both mental and physical health throughout his JEE Main 2026 journey.

Self-Study and Strategy for JEE Main

For Arnav, self-study played the most important role in mastering concepts for JEE Main 2026. At the same time, he valued professional coaching for the right direction. Immediate doubt resolution strengthened his preparation for. Inside the exam hall, he followed a smart strategy. He attempted Chemistry first, then moved to Physics, and finally solved Mathematics. Careful time management helped him finish early. The extra time gave him a buffer to recheck answers. That final revision ensured accuracy and helped him achieve a flawless score in JEE Main 2026.

Achievements Beyond JEE Main 2026

Beyond his outstanding performance, Arnav excelled in national and international Olympiads. He qualified for the Junior Science Olympiad OCSC in 2023. In 2024, he appeared for the Astro Olympiad OCSC. Later, he participated in the Physics Olympiad OCSC in 2025. The same year, he secured a bronze medal at the Asian Physics Olympiad. Following his success , Arnav now aims to pursue Computer Science at IIT Bombay. He is also preparing to secure a top rank in JEE Advanced 2026.
