Gujarat police arrested two men for placing an iron slab on train tracks in Botad district, intending to rob passengers after derailing the train.
The incident occurred on September 25 at 3 am near Kundli village, where a train safely struck an iron slab without derailing.
“The Okha-Bhavnagar passenger train (19210) hit a four-foot-long old rail on the track near cement sleepers around 3 am,” said Botad SP Kishor Baloliya.
