Late-night travelers in Greater Noida underwent a harrowing experience when a group of men in a BMW pursued and confronted their car, as per police reports on Monday. The disturbing incident on May 2 near the Yamuna Expressway was recorded on the family’s dashcam. Police accounts reveal that the BMW initially tried a risky overtaking maneuver with glaring high beams, leading to a minor collision with the family’s vehicle. Despite the family’s attempt to avoid escalation, the BMW relentlessly chased them, ultimately overtaking them after a 2-kilometer pursuit.

Quick Thinking Averts Confrontation as Noida Police Review Disturbing BMW Incident
Upon catching up, three individuals emerged from the BMW and began throwing bottles at the family’s car, creating a threatening situation. In a quick-thinking move, the driver reversed the vehicle and fled from the scene, potentially averting a more serious confrontation. Noida Police have acknowledged the incident and are currently reviewing CCTV footage for further investigation.
In their official statement, Noida Police confirmed the altercation between the two parties, noting the minor contact between the vehicles and the subsequent aggressive behavior exhibited by the individuals in the BMW. Despite the victim’s reluctance to pursue legal action, authorities have invoked measures under the Goonda Act. This disturbing incident serves as a reminder of the vulnerability faced by late-night travelers.
