Pregnant Wife of Rape Accused Gang-Raped, Set Ablaze in MP

A 34-year-old pregnant woman in Madhya Pradesh’s Morena district is reportedly fighting for her life after allegedly being rape by three men and set on fire, as confirm by the police on Saturday.

Victim with 80% Burns Undergoes Treatment in Gwalior

The victim, with 80 per cent burns, is currently receiving treatment in Gwalior, according to an official. Incident took place in Chand Ka Pura village, approximately 3 km from Ambah town, on Friday. The victim visited the village to negotiate a compromise with a woman who had accused her husband of rape, as disclosed by Inspector Alok Parihar of Ambah police station to PTI.

In a horrifying incident, a woman, seeking a compromise with a rape accusation against her husband, was allegedly gang-rape by three men at the accuser’s house. Subsequently, the assailants, along with the accused woman, doused her in fuel and set her ablaze. The victim, with 80 percent burns, is now undergoing treatment in Gwalior.

Husband Hands Video Evidence to Police as Victim Provides Statement

Although the victim has provided her statement to the magistrate, the police are yet to record her official statement.
