Noida Factory Protest Turns Violent, Vehicles Torched

Factory workers in Noida continued their protest on Monday and demanded higher wages. As a result, the situation turned tense. Some protestors set vehicles on fire and threw stones. During police action, a female worker got injured, which increased anger among workers.

The protest mainly affected Phase-2, Sector 60 and 62 areas of Noida. For the last four to five days, workers have continued their protest and demanded a wage hike as per labour laws. However, many workers said the government has not fulfilled earlier promises. They also raised concerns about police action and questioned the use of force.

Meanwhile, authorities deployed heavy police force in Noida to control the unrest. Senior officers reached the spot and monitored the situation closely. They tried to maintain peace and control the crowd. At the same time, officials spoke with workers to calm tensions and prevent further violence.
