Sahil Gehlot Married Nikki Yadav In 2020, Killed Her For 2nd Marriage

According to the most recent developments in the Nikki Yadav murder case, Nikki and murder-accused Sachin Gehlot married in 2020. Five people have been arrested, including 24-year-old Sahil Gehlot’s father, two cousins (Ashish and Naveen), and two friends, Amar and Lokesh. Notably, Naveen works for the city police. All of them have been charged as co-accused in the case.

Ravinder Yadav, Special CP Crime Branch, stated that Sahil Gehlot was interrogated while in police custody. The cop stated that Gehlot carried out the plan and murdered Nikki, and that he also informed the other co-accused persons about it, after which they all proceeded with the marriage ceremony.

“All five co-accused including the father Virender Singh, two cousins Ashish and Naveen and two friends Amar and Lokesh of Sahil Gehlot were thoroughly interrogated and arrested after verifying and ascertaining their role in connection with the killing,” Special Commissioner of Police (Crime) Ravindra Yadav said.

After extensive questioning, Gehlot revealed that Nikki Yadav had asked him not to marry another girl because both (Sahil and the deceased) had already married in 2020. According to police, Nikki was his wife, not a live-in partner.

Nikki Yadav pleaded with Gehlot not to proceed with his family’s planned marriage to another girl on February 10, 2023. According to police, Gehlot then devised the plot and planned to murder the deceased.

Accordingly, Sahil Gahlot executed the plan and murdered her and informed the other co-accused persons about it on the same day (February 10) and then all of them went ahead with the marriage ceremony.

The Nikki Yadav murder case had come to light on February 14, four days after she was murdered. Gehlot under police custody confessed to the crime and led police to the fridge in his dhaba where he had kept the body.
