Husband Allegedly Fires Three Rounds at Wife

According to police officials, Vishal Jadhav allegedly confronted his wife Archana and questioned her character before the dispute turned violent. The couple reportedly engaged in a heated argument at their residence, where the accused allegedly lost control and used a country-made pistol. Police said he fired three rounds at Archana during the confrontation. One bullet reportedly grazed her ear, while another struck her in the back. The injuries caused her to collapse, and family members immediately rushed to her aid. They arranged transport and shifted her to a hospital in Nanded for urgent medical care. Doctors treated her injuries and confirmed that she had stabilised. Police are now collecting medical reports to understand the severity of the injuries and include them in the case records.

Police Collect Forensic Evidence From Crime Scene

Superintendent Nilabh Rohan said preliminary investigation indicated that Vishal Jadhav had a criminal background. Police records showed that he had earlier faced charges in a robbery case and was out on bail when the alleged shooting took place. Investigators are checking his past movements, known contacts and possible hideouts to trace him. Police have formed multiple teams and assigned them to different locations connected with the accused. Officers are speaking with his relatives, friends and acquaintances while gathering information about his possible whereabouts. They are also checking whether anyone helped him obtain or hide the illegal firearm. The investigation will examine the source of the country-made pistol and identify anyone involved in supplying it. Police said they will take strict action after arresting the accused.
