Goldy Brar, Suspect in Sidhu Moose Wala Murder, Not Killed in California Shooting

The US Police have refuted rumours that Goldy Brar, the mobster responsible for the murder of musician Sidhu Moose Wala, died in a California shooting.

Following a brawl, two males were reportedly shot yesterday at Fairmont and Holt Avenue in Fresno, California. According to US police, one of them later passed away in a hospital. Following the tragedy, a lot of individuals on social media conjectured that Brar, a Canadian mobster, was the person killed. Several news outlets have picked up the reports.

Fresno Police: Shooting Victim Not Goldy Brar

In response to the reports, the Fresno police department has since stated that they are “untrue”. Lieutenant William J. Dooley reportedly responded to a question by saying, “If you are inquiring because of the online chatter claiming that the shooting victim is ‘Goldy Brar,’ we can confirm that this is absolutely not true,” according to news agency IANS.

Fresno Police Counter Rumors, Deny Victim Identity as Goldy Brar; Label Reports ‘Misinformation’

Denouncing the reports as “misinformation,” the lieutenant claimed that the police force is inundated with queries from all geographic locations. “Misinformation spreading on social media and online news outlets has resulted in questions from all around the world this morning. The origin of this tale is unknown, but it quickly gained traction and spread like wildfire. Again, though, that is untrue. Without a doubt, Goldy is not the victim,” he continued.

Wanted Criminal Linked to Sidhu Moose Wala Murder, Subject of International Red Notice

Under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, Satinderjit Singh, also known as Goldy Brar, was designated as a terrorist and is currently a wanted criminal. Interpol issued a Red Corner Notice against him, and a non-bailable warrant has already been issued against him.

Goldy Brar, a prominent figure in the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, gained notoriety by claiming responsibility for the death of Punjabi artist Sidhu Moose Wala in a Facebook post. On May 29, 2022, Sidhu Moose Wala was shot and killed in his car near his village in the Mansa district of Punjab.
