A pregnant woman was fatally shot by her husband inside a bank ATM in Saharanpur. The incident occurred within the Mandi police jurisdiction. The perpetrator is currently evading authorities. The husband harbored suspicions about his wife’s extramarital relationship. Additionally, he also wounded his younger brother. The victim leaves behind a six-year-old son.
Mandi SHO, Piyush Dixit, commented, “The woman’s relatives and colleagues at the school mentioned her pregnancy, and further details are anticipated upon receipt of the autopsy report. Investigations unveiled Zeeshan’s suspicion regarding his wife’s alleged infidelity. The homicide was premeditated, as he brought the firearm along and persuaded the woman to accompany him to the ATM. He has been charged with murder.” According to law enforcement officials, Zeeshan’s family owns a small parcel of farmland, while Parveen was employed as a teacher at a private school.

For several months, she resided at her maternal home. Saharanpur SP (city), Abhimanyu Manglik, stated, Zeeshan visited his in-laws’ residence and escorted Parveen to an ATM located in a marketplace in Raiwala. While Parveen was in the process of withdrawing money, Zeeshan produced a firearm and fatally shot her in the head. She succumbed to her injuries immediately. Subsequently, he shot his brother Rihan Siddiqui (28) in the neck, who was then hospitalized. His condition is currently stable. The victim’s body was sent for autopsy. Zeeshan, who is currently evading authorities, is being pursued by the police.
