The CBI has subjected Dr Sandip Ghosh to two rounds of the polygraph test. Explaining the suspension of kolkata Dr. Sandip Ghosh, the former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, IMA President Dr. RV Ashokan stated that the disciplinary committee considered the complaints of the victim’s parents in their decision.
The IMA chief stated the panel considered the victim’s family’s claim that Ghosh told them the death was a suicide.

“On Thursday, Dr. RV Ashokan, President of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), announced that the IMA Headquarters has suspended Dr. Sandip Ghosh’s membership. Dr. Ghosh, a former Principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital and Vice President of the Calcutta IMA branch, faced suspension after a disciplinary committee reviewed the concerns raised by the victim’s parents.
Supreme Court Rebukes kolkata Doctor
The Supreme Court criticized Dr. Sandip Ghosh for attempting to misrepresent the rape and murder as a suicide. The CBI has conducted two polygraph tests on him and called him for further questioning on Thursday.Dr. Ghosh, former principal of the hospital where the body was found, has been interrogated by the CBI for over 130 hours.
