Jacqueline Fernandez appealed to the police commissioner for urgent intervention, citing safety concerns. She lodged a complaint against Sukesh Chandrashekhar, accusing him of harassment and threats while he’s incarcerated. The Indian Express reported that she submitted the case to Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora and sent a letter to the Special Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch). A specialized unit has been tasked with commencing a preliminary investigation into the matter.

In a letter addressed to the police chief, titled “Concerns Regarding Witness Protection Failures,” She expressed her distress over being unintentionally involved in a case with significant implications for the justice system. As a prosecution witness in a special cell case, she described facing psychological pressure and targeted intimidation.

Immediate Police Intervention in Witness Protection Concerns
She urge the police commissioner to promptly intervene, citing concerns for her safety and the integrity of legal proceedings. She emphasize the necessity of filing an FIR against Sukesh under relevant IPC sections to ensure her protection. In December last year, Jacqueline petitioned a Delhi court, seeking directives to prohibit Sukesh from sending letters, messages, or statements to her.
