Indore: Husband stops woman from going to beauty parlour, she hangs self

A woman in Indore hanged herself from a fan after she was stopped by her husband from visiting a beauty parlour. The victim, identified as Reena Yadav (34), hanged herself in her home in Scheme Number 51 area of the city on Thursday, Sub Inspector Umashankar Yadav said.

“Her husband has told us he stopped her from going to a beauty parlour and she hanged herself from a fan in a fit of rage. Post mortem has been carried out and the case is being probed from all angles,” Yadav added.

After the incident, her husband Balram informed the police and the body was taken for a post-mortem examination. Married for 15 years, Balram and Reena had constant fights, the woman’s family members alleged.

Balram, who often stays at home, said, “I just asked her not to go to the beauty parlour. I informed the police.”
