He emphasized that responses to terrorism should not be influenced by political convenience. Amid the recent dispute with Canada following Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s accusation of India’s involvement in Hardeep Singh Nijjar’s killing, Jaishankar reiterated India’s stance against Canada providing refuge to terrorists. During a discussion in New York, Jaishankar reiterated that India has shared information about various Khalistani terrorists based in Canada with the Canadian government, while Canada has not reciprocated with specific details.

Terrorist Details in India’s Dossier

The late Hardeep Singh Nijjar, India’s dossier contains information about several individuals, including Arshdeep Singh Dala, Goldy Brar, Snover Dhillon, Ramandeep Singh, Gurjeet Singh Cheema, Gurjinder Singh Pannu, Gurpreet Singh, Tehal Singh, Malkeet Singh Fauji, Manvir Singh Dhura, Parvkar Singh Dulai, Moninder Singh Bual, Bhagat Singh Brar, Satinder Pal Singh, Sulinder Singh, Manveer Singh, Lakhvir Singh (also known as Landa), Sukhdul Singh, Harpreet Singh, Sundeep Singh, and Mandeep Singh Dhaliwal.

The document furnishes information about the mentioned terrorists, such as Goldy Brar, who arrived in Canada on August 15, 2017. Goldy Brar, associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, was involved in the assassination of a Youth Congress district president in Faridkot, seeking retribution for his cousin’s murder.

His intended location is Fresno City, California, where he has pursued legal channels, including seeking asylum, and has engaged with legal professionals for this purpose.

According to the dossier, Landa is a trusted associate of Harwinder Singh, based in Pakistan. Regarding his criminal history, the dossier notes that in a Facebook post in 2022. Landa openly admitted to being responsible for the murder of Shiv Sena leader Sudhir Suri. It was done on November 4, 2022, in Amritsar. In the post, he asserted, “This is just the start. Those who rely on security and believe they’ll be safe should realize that their time is also coming.”

Former Khalistani Associate’s Extensive Involvement in Vancouver

Satinder Pal Singh, aged 66 and a former associate of the late Hardeep Singh Nijjar, resides in Vancouver. He initially moved to Canada in 1974 and returned to India in 1979. However, during Operation Blue Star, he went back to Canada. The dossier mentions that he became an ardent supporter of Khalistan and began advocating for it in Canadian Gurdwaras. In 1986, he was nominated as a member of the Panthic Committee by Dr. Sohan Singh. Additionally, he frequently travels to Pakistan and maintains contact with Sikh militant leaders based in Pakistan.
