Canada accused India of using Lawrence Bishnoi gang against pro-Khalistani individuals

Shortly after India pull its diplomats from Canada, the Royal Canadian Mount Police (RCMP). Accus New Delhi of been directly involved Lawrence in “serious criminal activity” within Canada.

While Ottawa did not provide evidence to support its claims. It alleged that “agents” of the Indian government in Canada were collaborating with Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang to target pro-Khalistani individuals.

In response to the situation, Michael Kugelman, Director of the South Asia Institute at the Wilson Center, remarked, “Canada’s release of this statement is a significant development, as it’s rare for Ottawa to publicly share details about its allegations against Delhi. The absence of evidence in the public domain is something Delhi has frequently pointed to in its ongoing rejection of Ottawa’s claims.”

India expelled six Canadian diplomats, including Acting High Commissioner Stewart Ross Wheeler, Deputy High Commissioner Patrick Hebert, and First Secretaries Marie Catherine Joly, Lan Ross David Trites, Adam James Chuipka, and Paula Orjuela. They have been given time till October 19 to leave India.
