Top wrestlers’ street protests and sexual harassment allegations may cost BJP heavyweight and six-time MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh an opportunity to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. Sources within the BJP have informed NDTV that Singh may not receive a ticket this time from Kaiserganj in Uttar Pradesh, a constituency he has represented for three consecutive terms.
Kaiserganj is schedule to vote on May 20 in the fifth phase of the Lok Sabha election. Tomorrow marks the last date for filing nominations. Therefore, the BJP is anticipate to announce its candidate today. This announcement also put an end to speculation surrounding the BJP’s selection for the seat.

Brij Bhushan singh accused of sexual harassment by top wrestlers
Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, who served as the president of the Wrestling Federation of India for more than ten years, gained significant attention early last year when several prominent wrestlers in the country, such as Bajrang Punia, Vinesh Phogat, and Sakshee Malikkh, accused him of sexually harassing women wrestlers. This accusation led to a large-scale protest staged by these top wrestlers in the national capital.
