Epstein Testimony: Bill Gates Speaks on Affairs and Blackmail Fears in New Claims

US lawmakers intensified scrutiny on Bill Gates after fresh Justice Department documents renewed focus on his past links with Jeffrey Epstein. The House Oversight Committee called Gates to testify and examine his earlier interactions with the disgraced financier. Gates appeared voluntarily before the panel in a closed-door session in Washington. He addressed questions about his personal life and admitted that Epstein knew details of private affairs. Lawmakers reviewed records that suggested ongoing communication between Gates and Epstein even after earlier controversies. The investigation expanded as officials reassessed Epstein’s network and connections with prominent figures.

US Lawmakers Question Gates Over Epstein Links and Personal Affairs

During testimony, Gates revealed that he had relationships with three women outside his marriage. He confirmed that Epstein became aware of these affairs involving individuals connected to his professional and social circle. Gates stated that these relationships created emotional difficulties for his family and personal life. He explained that Epstein used knowledge of these matters to pressure him indirectly. Gates told lawmakers that Epstein attempted to create leverage through private information and misleading claims. He said he never felt successfully blackmailed, but he recognized Epstein’s intentions clearly.

Gates explained that Epstein referenced two Russian women and a medical entrepreneur in his testimony discussion. He identified them as Mila Antonova, Karima Nigmatulina, and Alice Jacobs Nesselrodt in his statements. Gates said Epstein gathered information about these relationships through mutual contacts and prior interactions. He told the committee that Epstein used this knowledge in manipulative conversations. Gates stated that Epstein mixed truth and false claims to build pressure over time. He maintained that these actions never resulted in direct blackmail or financial demands.

Gates Denies Blackmail, Rejects Medical Allegations in Testimony

Gates told lawmakers that he met Epstein around 12 to 14 times over several years voluntarily. He said he also participated in two video calls during that period for philanthropic discussions. Gates explained that Epstein claimed he could connect him with wealthy donors for charitable initiatives. He stated that those promises never materialized in any meaningful or productive outcome. Gates admitted that continued contact with Epstein was a mistake in hindsight. He said he underestimated the risks of maintaining professional interaction after Epstein’s conviction.

Gates also addressed allegations related to sexually transmitted diseases mentioned in Epstein-related documents. He firmly denied ever having an STD and rejected claims of secret medical treatment. Gates stated that any concerns discussed in emails were misinterpreted or taken out of context. He said he never provided medication covertly to any individual involved in those discussions. Gates acknowledged that his foundation has begun an external review of its past interactions with Epstein. He said he accepted responsibility for maintaining contact and expressed regret for those decisions.
