Hours after reports of shots being fired outside Punjabi singer AP Dhillon ‘s home in Vancouver, Canada, the singer reassured fans of his safety via Instagram. According to an India Today report, jailed Lawrence Bishnoi and gangster Rohit Godara have claimed responsibility for the incident.

AP Dhillon Reassures Fans and Shares Positive Update After Shooting Incident

On Tuesday, the Punjab-born singer, who has been residing in Canada for several years, took to Instagram Stories to reassure his followers, saying, “I’m safe. My people are safe. Thank you to everyone who reached out. Your support means everything 🙏. Peace and love to all.” Around the same time, AP Dhillon also posted a video of himself enjoying his song “Sweet Flower” on Instagram Reels, with the caption, “Keep spreading love.” Fans responded to his update with supportive messages, including comments like, “Glad you’re safe,” “Be safe bro,” and “Thank God he is safe, @apdhillon take care of yourself…”

AP Dhillon’s Residence Targeted: Unverified Video and Gangster Claims Emerge

AP Dhillon, renowned for hits like “Brown Munde,” “Excuses,” “Summer High,” “With You,” and “Dil Nu,” resides on Victoria Island in British Columbia. An unverified video circulating online shows a man firing multiple shots outside a house at night. The exact location of the incident remains unconfirmed.

Additionally, a widely shared social media post attributes the shooting to gangster Rohit Godara, who claims responsibility for incidents at two Canadian locations: Victoria Island and Woodbridge, Toronto. Godara, reportedly associated with Lawrence Bishnoi, allegedly targeted Dhillon following the singer’s collaboration with actor Salman Khan on the music video for “Old Money.” The gangster has also issued death threats to Dhillon.

Salman Khan Accuses Lawrence Bishnoi and Anmol Bishnoi in Shooting Incident Chargesheet

In July, Salman Khan included Lawrence Bishnoi and his brother Anmol Bishnoi in the chargesheet filed by Mumbai Police regarding the shooting incident outside his home. Khan stated, “I believe Lawrence Bishnoi, with the help of his gang members, orchestrated the firing while my family members were asleep, intending to kill me and my family.” He also informed the police that he and his family had received multiple threats in recent years.
