Air India Pilot Srishti Tuli’s Suicide: Deleted Chats Under Investigation

Srishti Tuli’s , an Air India pilot, was discovered dead at her rented apartment in Mumbai’s Marol area on November 25, with suicide suspected as the cause.

reported that moments before her death, Srishti Tuli made a video call to her boyfriend, Aditya Pandit, showing him that she was about to hang herself.

The couple had an argument, after which Aditya Pandit left for Delhi. Srishti Tuli reportedly asked him to stay, but when he declined, she allegedly threatened to end her life.

Aditya Pandit, in police custody for abetment to suicide, is accused of deleting messages with Srishti Tuli.

The police are attempting to recover the deleted messages, and Aditya’s phone has been sent for forensic analysis.

According to unnamed sources, there were about 10-11 phone calls exchanged between the two before her death, along with several missed calls on Srishti’s phone.

Pandit claims he tried contacting Srishti multiple times and, upon finding her door locked, used a locksmith to enter. The police also question the second pilot as part of the investigation.

Srishti’s family has questioned the circumstances of her death, alleging that she might have been murdered rather than committing suicide.

Srishti’s family highlighted a cheerful chat with her mother and aunt 15 minutes before her death. Her uncle questioned, “What happened in those 15 minutes?”

Srishti Tuli, from Uttar Pradesh, lived in Mumbai for work since June. She and Aditya Pandit met during pilot training two years ago.

Srishti Tuli’s Uncle Accuses Aditya Pandit of Abuse

The relative claimed that Aditya Pandit frequently harassed and humiliated Srishti Tuli’s in public, and also pressured her to change her eating habits.

Following the uncle’s complaint, Aditya Pandit was arrested under section 108 of the Indian Penal Code (abetment of suicide).

He was produced in a court which remanded him in police custody for four days, the official added.
