Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 India Launch on April 10

Royal Enfield is gearing up to enter the electric vehicle segment with the launch of its first EV, the Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6, scheduled for April 10 in India. The debut marks a significant milestone for the brand as it expands beyond its traditional petrol lineup.

Performance, Range and Features of the Flying Flea C6

The Flying Flea C6 uses a 15.4 kW (20 hp) PMSM electric motor paired with a 3.91 kWh battery pack. It accelerates from 0 to 60 kmph in just 3.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 115 kmph. The motorcycle delivers a claimed IDC range of 154 km, while its onboard charger takes about 65 minutes to charge the battery from 20% to 80%.

Targeted primarily at urban riders, the bike comes equipped with a host of modern features such as all-LED lighting, Google-based navigation, wireless phone charging, cornering ABS, traction control and multiple ride modes including Sport and Individual. The Individual mode enables riders to customise settings like traction control, ABS levels and throttle response.

Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 Design and Lightweight Build

In terms of design, the Flying Flea C6 adopts a compact and distinctive styling inspired by the original Flying Flea. It features an exposed frame, girder-style front suspension, a floating seat and a detachable pillion seat, giving it a unique identity compared to Royal Enfield’s conventional models.The motorcycle houses its battery in an aluminium casing that improves aerodynamics, enhances cooling efficiency, and adds to the overall visual appeal. It weighs just 124 kg, making it the lightest motorcycle ever produced by the brand.
