PM Narendra Modi praised innovators and entrepreneurs

PM Narendra Modi reaffirmed the government’s dedication to creating a supportive environment for startups to thrive. In a series of posts on the X social media platform, PM Modi expressed pride in the youthful energy found throughout the nation, particularly in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.

“Our government actively promotes startups and wealth creation,” the Prime Minister conveyed to innovators and entrepreneurs.

On Monday, innovators and technocrats acknowledged that initiatives like the Atal Innovation Mission, Start-up India, Stand-Up India, and Digital India have significantly transformed the Indian economy.

During the ‘Vishesh Sampark Abhiyan’ event in the national capital, they interacted with Union Ministers Hardeep Singh Puri and Rajeev Chandrashekhar.

“In today’s India, one’s surname doesn’t matter. What matters is hard work. Your journey is truly inspiring, @deepigoyal. It motivates countless youngsters to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams,” PM Modi posted, praising Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal.

Prime Minister Modi also praised Abhiraj Bhal, Sunil Vachhani and Rohan Verma

PM Modi also commended Abhiraj Bhal, Founder of Urban Company, highlighting that the ‘Startup India’ initiative has clearly created a favourable environment for innovation and growth.

To Sunil Vachhani, Chairman of Dixon Technologies, PM Modi remarked on the significant transformation in India’s mobile phone and electronics industry.

“This progress showcases India’s potential and the proactive measures taken in recent years to achieve it,” said the Prime Minister.

The number of unicorns in the country has grown from four in 2015 to 130 in 2024, with over 1.25 lakh startups now established.

PM Modi also praised Rohan Verma, CEO of Map My India, affirming that the government will continue to make every effort to revolutionise the crucial space and geospatial sectors.
