Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy has expressed regret over not allowing his wife, Sudha Murty, to join the company, now a tech giant, despite her contribution of seed capital of ₹10,000. Infosys, founded in July 1981 in Pune and headquartered in Bengaluru, has seven co-founders, all engineers: Nandan Nilekani, Kris Gopalakrishnan, SD Shibulal, K Dinesh, NS Raghavan, and Ashok Arora. Last month, Murthy also expressed regret for not being able to reward early employees, acknowledging their significant contributions.

Murthy Commends PV Narasimha Rao and Manmohan Singh
Murthy commended the Karnataka State Industrial & Infrastructure Corporation and the Karnataka State Finance Corporation. He also praised former Prime Ministers PV Narasimha Rao and Dr. Manmohan Singh, former Finance Minister P. Chidambaram, and Montek Singh Ahluwalia, former Deputy Chairperson of the now-defunct Planning Commission, for their roles in ushering in liberalization and facilitating the tech revolution. He commended the Karnataka State Industrial & Infrastructure Development Corporation and the Karnataka State Finance Corporation for their efficient loan facilitation.
