External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar met leaders from several countries during Raisina Dialogue 2026 in New Delhi. The meetings focused on expanding diplomatic relations and strengthening strategic partnerships. He held bilateral talks with ministers from Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Mauritius, Kenya, Malta, Seychelles, and Rwanda. These discussions highlighted India’s commitment to regional cooperation and global engagement.
Dr S Jaishankar met Sri Lanka’s Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath and discussed bilateral relations and regional developments. He said Vision MAHASAGAR and the Neighbourhood First policy continue to guide both countries. He also met Bhutanese Foreign Minister Lyonpo D.N. Dhungyel. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to deepen the unique India-Bhutan partnership through continued cooperation.

The final bilateral meeting took place with Rwanda’s Foreign Minister Olivier J.P. Nduhungirehe. Both leaders discussed expanding economic and digital cooperation between the two countries. Overall, Dr S Jaishankar Raisina Dialogue 2026 meetings strengthened India’s diplomatic outreach. They also reinforced India’s commitment to building stronger global partnerships through dialogue and mutual cooperation.
Dr S Jaishankar held bilateral meetings with leaders from Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Mauritius, Kenya, Malta, Seychelles, and Rwanda to strengthen diplomatic and strategic ties.
The External Affairs Minister also held talks with Mauritian Foreign Minister Dhananjay Ritish Ramful. Both sides agreed to strengthen their strategic partnership further. Later, Dr S Jaishankar met Kenya’s Foreign Minister Musalia W. Mudavadi. They discussed ways to unlock the full potential of India-Kenya relations. These meetings reflected India’s growing engagement with trusted partners across regions.
Dr S Jaishankar also met Malta’s Foreign Affairs Minister Ian Borg during the dialogue. He appreciated Malta’s valuable insights on the maritime industry. In another meeting, he discussed follow-up actions after the recent Presidential visit with Seychelles’ Foreign Minister Barry Faure. These conversations aimed to improve cooperation in maritime security and regional development.
