Following the transition, Byju’s has revealed a significant restructuring, consolidating its operations into three distinct divisions: The learning app, Online Classes and Tuition Centers, and Test Prep. Byju Raveendran, the founder of the edtech company Think and Learn, which owns the Byju’s brand, will oversee the company’s day-to-day operations following the departure of CEO Arjun Mohan, as announced on Monday.

BYJU’S implements restructuring after seven-month review led by outgoing CEO
The changes come after an extensive seven-month operational review and cost optimization effort led by departing BYJU’S India CEO Arjun Mohan. In this new phase, Byju Raveendran will assume a more active role in leading the company’s daily operations,” the company stated. Mr. Mohan will transition to an external advisory position, leveraging his extensive expertise in edTech to support the company and its founders during this transformative period.
With this new organizational structure and Byju Raveendran’s return as the operational leader, BYJU’S is now poised to embark on its next phase of growth driven by innovation. The company will scale up its new suite of AI-first products, which have garnered overwhelmingly positive feedback during the pilot phase, the statement read.
