According to police, the actor narrowly escaped the attack while leaving a football club around 7 pm. Eknath Shinde Assures Shroff Family of Government Support After Firing

Shinde said Tiger suffered minor injuries from gunpowder and broken glass fragments during the incident. He also described the attack as serious and condemned the violence targeting the actor and his associates. During his interaction with reporters, Shinde issued a strong warning against threats, intimidation and violence across Mumbai. He declared that nobody could establish dominance through criminal activities or intimidate residents and public figures. Shinde assured the Shroff family that the Maharashtra government would provide support amid growing security concerns. Police have launched an investigation into the firing under Juhu Police Station’s jurisdiction. Deputy Commissioner of Police Mohit Garg confirmed that unidentified individuals opened fire as Tiger left the football club. Meanwhile, the All Indian Cine Workers Association condemned the attack and questioned the authorities’ ability to protect Bollywood personalities.

The association cited previous incidents involving Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Rohit Shetty and comedian Kapil Sharma. AICWA alleged that repeated attacks reflected a growing pattern of intimidation and extortion targeting film industry members. It demanded strict action against the shooters, their alleged handlers and criminal networks responsible for threatening celebrities. The association also urged Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to strengthen security arrangements for actors and their families. It called for accountability, effective policing and stronger measures to prevent similar attacks across Mumbai. AICWA warned authorities against allowing Mumbai to return to the violent underworld era of the 1990s. The association insisted that Bollywood professionals deserve adequate protection and should work without fear of criminal intimidation.
