How Is Rithi Tiwari Related To MS Dhoni?

Rithi Tiwari is the daughter of Bhojpuri singer-actor and BJP MP Manoj Tiwari and his first wife, Pratima Pandey, also known as Rani Tiwari. Pratima’s brother Arun Pandey played cricket alongside MS Dhoni for Jharkhand. Over the years, Arun and Dhoni developed a close friendship. Because of this family relationship, Rithi has always considered Dhoni a close family member and affectionately calls him ‘Mama’.

Dhoni’s association with the family goes back to his early days as a cricketer. During his initial years, Dhoni reportedly shared accommodation with Manoj Tiwari in Delhi. Manoj once recalled that they lived in the same room, with Dhoni sometimes sleeping on the floor. Arun Pandey later became an important figure in Dhoni’s professional journey. He founded Reeti Sports, a sports management company named after his niece, Rithi Tiwari.

Arun Pandey’s professional association with Dhoni extended beyond their friendship. Dhoni: The Untold Story. The 2016 biopic starred Sushant Singh Rajput as Dhoni and became one of the most popular sports films in India. This further strengthened the professional association between Pandey and the cricket star.

Rithi Tiwari is a singer, songwriter and musician who entered Bigg Boss 20 aiming to build an identity of her own. After her parents separated in 2011, she primarily grew up with her mother. She released her solo song Zhuthi Baby in 2025 and later entered politics by joining the BJP. On Bigg Boss 20, Rithi has attracted attention for her singing skills and outspoken personality. Her confrontation with boxing champion Mary Kom also became a talking point among viewers.
